How to Make Scented Reed Diffusers

Scenting Reed Diffuser Base:

It is very easy to create Scented Reed Diffusers using our Reed Diffuser Base. The amount of fragrance oils you will need to use will depend on the quality of oil and the variety of oil used. For example, you would need to use more of the lighter weight fragrance oils (20% to 25%), such as citrus and florals. You will need to use less of the more heavier fragrance oils (15% to 20%), such as vanillas, creams or food scents.

Coloring Your Scented Reed Diffuser:

You can add a drop of candle dye to your Scented Reed Diffuser to add color to your reeds. To add a very small amount of color, just dip the tip of a toothpick into your candle color and then swirl it around in the Scented Reed Diffuser for a lighter color.

Using Nature Reeds for your Scented Reed Diffuser:

Our Nature Reeds will pull oil to the tips in about 24 hours and are a beautiful way to fragrance your home and office. Our testing showed that the 3.0 mm diameter Nature Reeds had significantly better wicking and throw than other smaller sticks in the market. We only carry the best so that you may sell the best!

EXAMPLE: Blending for a 25% Fragrance Load

Blend 2 ounces of your favorite fragrance oil with 6 ounces of Reed Diffuser Base to create 8 ounces of finished product. Add color if preferred. Shake well. You are now ready to add your Nature Reeds for a long lasting aroma.
