Aloe & Olive Melt and Pour Soap Base contains glycerin to help moisturize the skin. It is hypo-allergenic and does not clog pores.

DIRECTIONS:

Melt Soap

Use microwave, double boiler, or burner to slowly melt the glycerin soap base. Do not get the soap too hot and try to avoid boiling.

Add the Fragrance Oil

Once the soap has turned to liquid, remove it from the heat source. Add your body safe fragrance oil at 1 tablespoon per pound of soap. (Please note that certain fragrances may naturally color the soap)

Add Body Safe Color

Immediately after adding the fragrance, you will add your body safe dye. Add the color very slowly as not to “over-color” the soap.

Pour into Molds

Pour soap into the mold. Let the air bubbles rise to the top. Lightly spray the top of the soap base with rubbing alcohol to help the bubbles disappear. Place the molds in the freezer for 20 minutes to help the soap release.

Notes: We do not recommend adding soapmaking oils & butters to mp soap as they will significantly decrease your lather.
